Ideana on käyttää alumiinista tehtyä runkoa siten että kantavissa kohteissa vierintärata on kestävää jousi- tai ruostumatonta terästä.

Franke lineaarijohteet koostuvat teräksisestä kulkupinnasta joka on istutettu alumiiniseen runkoon sekä
alumiinisesta kelkasta jossa on integroidut teräksiset laakerit. Keveys ja herkkä laakerointi mahdollistavat hyvän dynamiikan, maks. 10 m/s.
